2. Appointments & Bookings

Appointments may be booked online through Fresha or through KK Cosmetology directly.

Clients are responsible for ensuring that the information provided when booking is accurate and up to date.

Appointment availability is not guaranteed until the booking has been successfully confirmed.

Treatment times shown are approximate and may include consultation, preparation and aftercare advice.

3. Consultations & Treatment Suitability

Some treatments require a consultation before treatment can be carried out.

Clients must provide complete and accurate information regarding their medical history, medications, allergies, pregnancy or breastfeeding, previous procedures and any other information that may affect treatment suitability.

It is the client's responsibility to inform KK Cosmetology of any changes to their health, medication or circumstances before each treatment.

KK Cosmetology reserves the right to postpone, adapt or decline a treatment where it is considered unsuitable or where proceeding could compromise the client's safety.

Where appropriate, clients may be advised to seek assessment or clearance from a GP, dermatologist or other healthcare professional before treatment.

4. Advanced Blemish Removal

Advanced electrolysis treatments are provided only for blemishes considered suitable for cosmetic treatment.

Not every skin lesion or pigmentation concern is appropriate for treatment.

Where there is uncertainty regarding the nature of a lesion, KK Cosmetology may decline treatment and recommend medical assessment before proceeding.

KK Cosmetology does not diagnose skin disease or skin cancer.

5. Treatment Results

Individual treatment results vary.

Factors including skin type, age, lifestyle, medical history, home care, sun exposure and adherence to aftercare recommendations can influence treatment outcomes.

No specific result can be guaranteed.

Some treatments require a course of sessions and/or continued home care to achieve and maintain the best possible outcome.

Before-and-after photographs shown on the website or social media represent individual client outcomes and should not be interpreted as a guarantee that another client will achieve identical results.

6. Possible Reactions & Downtime

Depending on the treatment, temporary reactions may include redness, sensitivity, dryness, peeling, swelling, tenderness, bruising or temporary changes in the appearance of the treated area.

Any expected downtime and relevant risks will be discussed during consultation or before treatment.

Clients must follow the aftercare instructions provided by KK Cosmetology.

7. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

KK Cosmetology operates a 48-hour cancellation policy.

Please provide at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

Late cancellations and missed appointments may result in an appropriate cancellation charge or loss of a booking payment where this reasonably reflects the loss caused by the cancellation.

Where KK Cosmetology is able to substantially reduce or avoid that loss, for example by successfully filling the appointment, this may be taken into consideration.

Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may require advance payment before future appointments are accepted.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory consumer rights.

8. Late Arrivals

Please arrive on time for your appointment.

If you arrive late, your treatment may need to be shortened to avoid delaying the next client.

Where there is insufficient time to safely or properly perform the treatment, the appointment may need to be rescheduled and the cancellation policy may apply.

9. Prices & Payments

Current treatment prices are displayed on the website, Fresha booking system or confirmed at the time of booking.

Prices are subject to change. Any change will not normally affect a treatment that has already been booked and confirmed at an agreed price unless otherwise agreed with the client.

Payment is due according to the terms displayed at the time of booking or purchase.

10. Treatment Courses

Where treatments are purchased as a course, sessions are intended for the person named on the booking unless otherwise agreed.

Treatment schedules may be recommended to achieve the best possible outcome.

If a treatment becomes medically unsuitable during a course, KK Cosmetology will discuss appropriate options with the client.

Any refund or cancellation of a treatment course will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer law and will take into account treatments already received and any legitimate costs or losses incurred.

11. Memberships

Membership benefits, treatment allowances, payment frequency and any minimum membership period will be clearly stated when the membership is purchased.

Memberships are for the registered member and cannot normally be transferred to another person.

Appointments remain subject to availability and KK Cosmetology's standard cancellation policy.

Membership benefits cannot be exchanged for cash.

Any separate membership terms presented at the time of purchase also form part of these Terms and Conditions.

12. Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers may be used towards eligible KK Cosmetology treatments in accordance with the conditions displayed when the voucher is purchased.

Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.

Any expiry date or restrictions will be clearly communicated at the time of purchase and will be applied subject to applicable consumer law.

13. Promotions & Special Offers

Promotional offers are subject to their individual terms and availability.

Unless otherwise stated, promotional discounts cannot be combined with another discount, membership benefit or promotional offer.

Promotions may apply only to selected treatments, clients or booking periods.

14. Online & Distance Purchases

Where services, memberships, courses or vouchers are purchased online or otherwise at a distance, statutory cancellation rights may apply.

Nothing within these Terms and Conditions is intended to remove or restrict any cancellation, refund or other rights provided to consumers by UK law.

Where a client specifically requests that a service begins during an applicable statutory cancellation period, additional conditions regarding cancellation and payment for services already supplied may apply.

15. Children & Accompanying Guests

Due to the nature of the treatments and equipment used within the clinic, clients should avoid bringing children to appointments unless this has been agreed with KK Cosmetology in advance.

Guests may also be asked to wait outside the treatment room where necessary for safety, privacy or treatment quality.

16. Photography

Clinical photographs may be recommended to monitor treatment progress.

Photographs used for marketing, the website, social media or promotional purposes will only be used where appropriate permission has been obtained.

Declining marketing photography will not affect the treatment or service you receive.

17. Personal Information & Privacy
